"Highway to Here" review:

This is a 10 track CD, with many of Sharon's self-penned songs recorded in both Nashville and California.  It is a CD that I believe is good enough to establish her amongst the very finest of today's female bluegrass singers.  Her vocals are equal to those of any of her peers, past or present.  Listening to the production and quality of the musicians, I would say this is an all round good CD.  I quite liked "Many Mansions" and "Old Love Letters," but the whole CD appealed to me as I had not heard any of the songs before.

"Highway to Here" review:

From the first strains of "Willoughby," the opening song from Sharon Cort's "Highway to Here," one immediately discerns that Cort is a fresh new voice in bluegrass.  Her rich alto voice has great range and a soulful edge, and she is an adept songwriter as well.  Read Article
